Cul de sac, houses have no front gardens so noise from the street can be heard. Children ranging in ages from 5-12. What time do you think is reasonable for them to go in?

My dc aged 8/10/12 have to be in by 8pm in summer and when it gets dark in winter.

When the street lights come on was the rule around here when I was in. I remember racing down the street watching them randomly come on think "Me mum'll kill me if I don't get in before she notices the lights." Grin

I think 7pm. My children are still quite young and go to bed at 7pm and should be able to go to sleep in their own beds with their windows open (If the nice weather ever arrives) without being disturbed.

Also, I like to sit in the garden after mine are in bed and enjoy the nice weather without having to listen to the neighbourhood kids screaming and shouting. Consideration for others is a lost art round my way Hmm
