Been on mn a while but nc for this.

I need some help regarding my future! I am late 20s, 2.1 BA degree from one of the top 5 UK universities, then did a pgce. Teaching isn't, and was never, for me. Went into it for the wrong reasons.

Previous to pgce, I worked in finance (working in banks on the ppi issue. Climbed the ranks very quickly and earned a good wage c. 40k after a few months)

I unexpectedly became pregnant not long after graduating from my undergrad degree. I now have 2 wonderful dcs but have been a sahp for the past couple of years as an nq teaching wage would have been almost completely taken up by childcare costs for 2.

I'm planning on returning to the world of work in the new year but the thought of teaching makes me want to cry! This is where I need some advice; first and foremost, I want a job that's well paid (or has the potential to be after training etc), has the potential to climb the promotion ladder. I am a real hard worker and enjoy progressing.

Can anyone share what role they do and what traing etc you did to get there? Iv never had any careers guidance so I'm struggling to know what to search for iyswim.
