What is this toy called?

Can anyone help please?

The DC play with it at their school club. There is a big bag of small interconnecting pieces as shown in the photo (assuming MNHQ have fixed the bug and the photo is visible). But they don't know what it is called and googling is coming up with nothing.

Can anyone help please?

Are all the pieces the exact same shape?

I used to work in a Nursery school, and I can’t say I’ve ever seen anything like that before, sorry!

Yes all the pieces are the same shape. They come in different colours - all pastel rather than vibrant.

I've tried googling variations on 'interlocking' and 'tessellated' and am coming up with similar ideas but not these.

The bump on the top means they can be stacked into 3d models.

I'm sorry I don't know what this is called, but it is similar to plus plus that we have, only plus plus doesn't have the little bump on top. Might be helpful as an alternative though. It's a great toy!

Thanks. I've been down a rabbit hole of links.

DontCallMe I spotted something similar on your link, but sadly it was missing the bump on top and the blocks were too big.

To all you have suggested Plus Plus - it looks like a possible Plan B. I hadn't heard of them so that has been helpful.

To those who suggested Plus Plus - I bought a pack and the DC are happy with them. In fact, they've been declared to be 'better than the school club ones'.
