I'm a LIDL virgin

I usually go to Aldi, but have been reading about LIDL and how they are expanding everywhere and they're so good.
What are the best things to buy there? I think I might go tomorrow for a change

I have a LIDL near me, but no Aldi.
I love Lidl's own brand 'Walkers' crisps, their layered yogurts, the Portuguese custard tarts at the bakery, the bakery in general, and probably a million other things I've forgotten.

The bakery is nice, but I'm an Aldi girl at heart. ALdi and Lidl are both about the same distance from me, but I just never quite warmed to Lidl. Oddly enough my neighbour is the complete opposite. Lidl all the way for her.

So the bakery is obviously the thing! Do they all have bakeries? What else is good?

I prefer aldi, butcertain things I like from Lidl are the ketchup, better than Heinz imho, also the Knightsbridge gold tea, is amazing.

The bakery is good, but I have concerns over hygiene, as my local store hasn’t got tongs, seem to have broken off, also the bakery products are all in open baskets, Spanish Lidl’s are covered in glass, with spade like tools inside, much more hygienic imho.
