Lunch recommendations for one in London

I'm from London, and I live in London but I've got a spare few hours on Friday and need recommendations of where to go for lunch and a quiet drink whilst I read a book. Don't want to do any sightseeing as I spend a lot of time in London doing that.

Assuming it's going to be dry Hmm, my requirements are:
Nice food- ideally Spanish but not necessarily tapas
Somewhere I can eat and then stay for a drink after
Outdoor area- rooftop or riverside will be nice.
Central or west as need to be in Wembley area later. Southbank area is ok too as my train gets into Waterloo.
Not pricey!

Go on Mumsnetters, hit me with your recommendations!!

Barrafina in Adelaide Street near the Strand. A short walk from Waterloo and Covent Garden.
Everyone sits at the bar so you feel fine sitting alone. The staff are friendly and chat to you.
No outside space though so if you want that, go to one of the river side cafes at Tower Bridge or South Bank.

Moro or Morito in Exmouth Market, near Farringdon?

I think you’re wildly optimistic about the weather, sadly Grin.

There's a great tapas restaurant called Mar i Terra near Southwark tube although don't think it has an outside area. You could always pop along to Borough to one of the tapas places there? The jubilee line will get you to Wembley easily.

The cafe in the National Gallery, Trafalgar Sq (close to Waterloo by tube or over Hungerford Bridge) is very nice.

@EssentialHummus ssshhhh! I have grand plans for sun!

Thanks for your recommendations- never heard of any of these places, so I am going to check them out! Might even plot them on a map and do a tapas crawl!

My three top Spanish style places would be:

Jose
Morito
Brindesa
