Medical supplies for flights- does it go free?

Hi,
We are thinking about going away on a long haul flight.
I'm sure I've heard that we can take 1 suitcase full of medical supplies only that won't eat away at baggage allowance?

There's a lot of feed (medical treatment) and medicines.

I've had a quick look around the net but thought id ask here too
Tia

Yes there should be a specialist department at the airline you are flying with who will advise you.

When we flew with virgin I was allowed a bag with medical supplies free of charge and additional to my standard luggage allowance.

I was also able to sit in extra legroom seat on the plane due to my medical needs so maybe have that discussion too so you can work out if certain seating will help manage your condition.

We might be flying PIA and can't find anything on their website.
Will have a good comb through it again lol
I might contact the airport too see if they have any info
