Footner

Bought a packet of Footner today as was half price in Superdrug. Excited to use it this evening. Has anyone used this? Any tips? I haven’t read the directions yet but is it basically wearing the socks for an hour then letting it work it’s magic? Do you take the socks off after the hour and then over a period of days you notice the difference? Is it a good idea to do it maybe an hour before bed then I don’t really need to walk around with them on?
Any hints and tips gratefully received.

I didn't know they sold them in superdrug as I usually get mine online... But yes it is a case of wearing them for an hour, at a time when you have nothing else to do, so before bedtime is good! Yes you just wear them for 1 hour then wait for the hideous wonder that is footner. Which means your skin falling off in sheets.... Which can take up to ten days to start so be patient.

Soak your feet every day as well it speeds up the process

Definitely soak your feet daily. They are great, I used to have pedicures now I use these every few weeks and just get my toenails painted and shaped instead - SO much cheaper!

Don't use them if you want your feet on show any time over the next 2 weeks!

Pringlemunchers · 12/06/2019 19:07

Does it make your feet sore ? What about if you're on your feel all day , do you need a certain amount of hard skin ?

Do it do it do it!

I bought a pack earlier in the year that I didn’t get around to using and now I fear it’s too late as I’ve got a couple of events I’ll be wearing nice shoes to in the next few weeks.

I was wondering if my peeling feet will get sore whilst running during the grim phase too??

Leave it on for much longer than 1hr or whatever it says on the packet.
Soak feet every night in hot water and no moisturisers at all even when they feel like they are going crunchy. You want them to be drying out
Get a nice pumice thing and a tube of cracked heel/urea cream for after the peel so you can keep them nice!

And yes. I agree with pp- you can't go anywhere where your feet are on show for about 2 weeks. It's for this reason that I have a footner upstairs that I can't fit in a time to use, I'll have to wait til after the summer now!
