Father’s Day

Just realised that it’s Father’s Day on Sunday. Normally we would have a nice day out but DH is working. Going to make a roast for tea but no idea what to get from DC. DC are 4 and 5. What’s everyone doing? We don’t usually make too much fuss but it’s nice to acknowledge it. I usually get flowers from DC for Mother’s Day so not too expensive but I don’t really want to buy rubbish gimmicky stuff.

Do you have any pictures of him and DCs or all of you as a family? Maybe get a canvas printed?

Or how about something like this?

We don't make a big fuss of Mothers day or Fathers day, so hand made cards and a small gift - CDs this year.

They are old enough to have fun making cards - buy some coloured paper, maybe some glitter glue or stickers, and let them have fun creating something. That's also far more "meaningful" for your DH than a box of chocolates or whatever. Though I also do love a nice mug with the DCs pictures.
