Anyone else awake with sick dc?

Up from 4.30am with a puking 4 year old, stripping beds, grabbing basins and cups of water, changing pj's, putting wash on, putting ipad on to distract. He actually threw up down my husbands bare back at one point so there have been showers too. Husband is nearly dozed back off already (of course), son is laid beside me watching cartoons and I cannot relax. Gotta get up at 7am for work....

I had a late night with a sick toddler rather than an early morning (although I'm wide awake after 4 hours sleep because DS is still unsettled). Worst part is we're on holiday so have limited cleaning products etc Sad

Oh that sounds awful, are you abroad? How old is your dc? I managed to fall back to sleep about 6am for an hour and now up again for work. Ds is sleeping sound thank goodness.

Luckily we're in the UK still so if he's not feeling better later we might just cut our losses and go home. He's nearly 2 and this is his first holiday so a bit of a rubbish experience for him unfortunately. He seems quite bright so far and has been eating and drinking ok so fingers crossed it was a one time thing

Aw bless him, hopefully you can still salvage the holiday if he's perked up, see how the day goes. I'm just dreading if it's a bug and dh or I catch it, I've so much on this week and weekend!
