Term time holidays

Hi i just wanted to see if anyone knew my childrens biological dad has not made any vontact for 7 years (we split due to domestic violence on his side) im due to take my kids out of school for a holiday im just wondering if just i will get fined or will they track their bio dad aswell? Im not trying to avoid the fines but dont want any contact with him that is going to make him make our lives hell again thanks

In theory, yes everyone with PR can be fined.

In practice, they may not put great effort into tracking down NRPs. Does the school have his contact details?

Kids are allowed X amount of holidays. Our school has never fined parents

Thanks no the school dont have his contact details but been told its the local education board or council who issue the fines so was just a bit unsure
