Help! Need to put request into writing

I’m going on holiday soon but am also on very strong medication. I need a letter from my GP stating the reasons I need said medication.

I don’t know how! How do I start? What do I say? I can’t write letters to save my life. Somebody please help me!

Have I misunderstood you or is it a letter that you need from your GP to show to somebody else as to why you on medication ? in this case it's the GP that should be right in the letter not you I would just phone your GP and ask them for a letter explaining why you need it.

Who has asked for the letter? Letters for travel are not part of NHS services - some GP’s might write one for a fee, as a private service, but many would also refuse due to workload issues

I’ve asked the GP for a letter confirming my medications and reason for taking it. Unfortunately I’ve been told it needs to be put into writing

The country I’m visiting is very strict regarding meds. I need permission from them to bring medication into their country. They also require a Gp’s letter.

I am visiting * in July, and As you will know they have strict rules regarding the medication I am on.

In order to travel I require a letter stating which medication I am on, and why it is needed.

Please could you let me know how much you charge for this service, and the time scale.
