How the hell do you get tickets for kids week at London theatres??

Every show of matilda is sold out of kids week tickets, am I doing something wrong? My DD loves this book and I was determined to get the tickets as could not afford it normally but there are none left any advice anyone ? Help!

Looks like Matilda is sold out already - there's quite a few others to choose from though

They do sometimes add more later, you have to keep checking back. It's not easy though. Have you tried the Matilda lottery?

The popular shows go really quickly. I wish it wasn’t just London theatres though, it costs a small fortune to go down to London from here!

Google it, they run a lottery where you can enter a draw for cheap tickets the following week. You never know your luck!

Matilda sold very quickly last year too. I ended up paying full price for tickets for DS and I and we absolutely loved it. The previous year i got a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory matinee which I was chuffed with. This year we have a Wicked matinee.

The main children shows always go v quickly. I tried for 3 years to get lion king tickets before I finally managed it.
