Adult pinata - what to put in?

AmIAWeed · 11/06/2019 08:21

My husband is turning 40 in a couple of weeks and we're having a surprise party. I ordered a pinata with the idea of filling it with alcohol miniatures, however someone with far more sense than me pointed out smacking glass bottles with a stick may not end well.
I cant find good miniatures in plastic bottles

Help me!
Where can I find miniatures in plastic bottles that isn't bells or gordons?
What else would you put in a pinata for adults?

Individually wrapped liqueur chocolates?

AmIAWeed · 11/06/2019 08:43

that's a great idea, thank you - I'l start looking now.
Hopefully some more ideas will be along to add a mixture of fillers

Mini toiletries

unlimiteddilutingjuice · 11/06/2019 08:45

Lottery scratchcards?
Wraps of cacaine?

AmIAWeed · 11/06/2019 08:48

I think i'll pass on the 'cacaine'...
Lottery scratchcards though and mini toiletries could work

Piñata for adults, really? Is that a thing?

EmpressJewel · 11/06/2019 08:49

80s style sweets - space powder (can get little packs).
Glow sticks
Car air fresheners
Lip balms
Trolley coins
Mini torches

I'D enjoy some good retro sweets

BlueMerchant · 11/06/2019 08:52

I'm sure the plastic minatures are more common in small independent corner shops. At least where I live.

AmIAWeed · 11/06/2019 08:55

Costacoffeeplease who knows - but i'm doing a Tiki theme, found a Tiki head pinata and figured why not?!

I like retro sweets, at least then any kids can tuck in...maybe shouldn't mix with liqueur chocolates though!!

Liqueur chocolates are rank. Just go for good old fashioned sweets and chocolate?

Costacoffeeplease · 11/06/2019 09:01

I’m not keen on the idea of piñata for kids so for adults feels even more uncomfortable. Hey ho, have fun bashing away

Hollowvictory · 11/06/2019 09:05

I'd just put sweets in same as for kids. Nobody cares about a lip balm.

BarbaraofSevillle · 11/06/2019 10:14

Lindt balls are fairly sturdy to stand up to being beaten out of a pinata.

Deadringer · 11/06/2019 10:16

Condoms

AmIAWeed · 11/06/2019 10:34

If it were just teenagers there I'd probably include condoms (to embarrass them, not because I also want a bowl with keys in) - however my SIL will murder me if I tried that around hers!

Retro sweets have been ordered, including bubblegum sticks with tattoos. I'll be disappointed if at lease 1 person doesn't go home with a ridiculous peeling tattoo on their face Grin

I think the miniatures are mostly plastic now, as they're much lighter so save a fortune on transport costs!

Retro sweets from your DH childhood

The tat that they used to have in Christmas crackers? Like that mood fish!
