Apart from Sophie the giraffe, what the best teether toy to give to my friend for her baby? Have seen the gloves and wooden toy shapes, but wanted to make sure I got something that worked and was baby safe etc

We have a Sophie and the elephant mentioned above, Not too keen on the elephant, but loves Sophie. DS loves his matchstick monkey, it's pricey, but good, big loops for small hands to hold, can get them from tesco or Amazon.

Aware you’ve said ‘apart from Sophie the giraffe’ but it is by far the most superior teether.

That makes sense that different babies like different things. Will stick with Sophie/the monkey. Even if they have it I guess you can’t have too many!

Sophie the giraffe was a life saver. I bough DS amber beads as well. No idea if they helped but less dribbly when they were on.
