I went into Bravissimo to get a soft bra. The sort you change into when you come home at the end of a long day and are fed up of the underwires.

I can't help wondering whether it's actually some kind of corset

All my bras are 4 hooks. I couldn’t bare anything narrower just massively digs in

I have 40f norms and that torture device might be what I need!

It's not underwired, but gives just enough support that I won't slap anybody if I turn quickly. I can dash up and down the stairs with slapping myself, either, but I wouldn't do anything more vigorous in it.

The boobage area is supremely comfortable, but I'm finding the band a bit tight, particularly at the sides. Hopefully it will stretch a little. Or maybe I'm just finding it tight because it's the end of the day and I'm ready to escape my corsetry.
