Changing the battery in a Samsung S6?

Will I lose all my photos/contacts/WhatsApp conversations etc as the battery is removed & a new one put in? Phone dullard here. Many thanks

Please don't try change the battery yourself on an s6, you will have to send it to a proper repair shop.
