Hello

After having had my third baby three weeks ago and being generally pretty knackered out also parenting two other toddlers I’m going to need to advertise for a helping hand for the next few weeks.

Has anyone on here done this before and what did you ask for? Basically what I’m looking for is someone who will do all the lifting and bending involved in washing and laundry and general tidying but who will also be able to step in and watch Moana with my DD at lunchtime whilst myself, DS and the baby sleep.

I’m not used to “help” and will find it a bit odd having a stranger in my house. But DH is away back to work soon and my health is very precarious atm so need this help.

What pitfalls are there and how should I avoid them? Just want someone nice but crucially with experience

No experience her but that sounds like an ideal job to me. Fingers crossed you find the advice you need. If I were you I'd check Childcare.co.uk, they advertise parents and independent care providers and may have some info on what you should look for and how much you should expect to pay.
