Heavy base for a rotary washing line

We used to have the washing line screwed directly into the ground but had artificial grass put down earlier in the year and I don't want to damage it etc.

Has anyone got any recommendations for a heavy stable base to use with a rotary washing line?

I've been looking at parasol bases but am getting mixed reviews on stability

I have a parasol base and it's fine. It's concrete with a wooden top rather than the plastic bases you fill with water/sand.

I’ve put mine in container like this and filled it with stones to give weight. I can move it around if necessary which is an advantage.

I can't find a pic in Google but they do have a lot of heavy duty granite bases which are similar.

WE have always used parasol bases for our rotary line, but have had two failures in a year. They rust through at the base of the central pole.

We did some research and found this beast in Ikea. It weighs 40kgs and we just about managed to lift it between the two of us. The central pole is stainless steel, so hopefully, will last a good while.

Looked at mine and it is granite, not concrete. It's very heavy but I can drag the rotary line to the middle of our paved yard and back to the side by myself. It's never fallen over.
