Don't think it's recommended. Normally have to rely on hygiene methods instead

@98mum I'm 29 weeks pregnant and took it last night. I spoke to two different GP's - the first had to Google it (!!!) but wouldn't give me anything the second said if it didn't clear up I could take Ovex. The chemist gave it to me for my partner anyway.

If it reassures you, they use it other countries. Specifically Germany. I took this from a German medical site:

Experiences in pregnancy
Experience level : HIGH

1st trimester
There were no indications of a teratogenic risk of mebendazole exposure in several studies with a total of over 700 pregnancies evaluated in the first trimester. In animal experiments, teratogenic effects were seen in rats.

2nd 3rd Trimester / perinatal
There are significantly more experiences in the 2nd and 3rd trimester. In endemic areas, second- and third-trimester mebendazole therapy appears to have a positive effect on maternal anemia, birth weight, and neonatal mortality. There is no evidence of fetotoxic effects.

Be free of worms my friend!
