I'm waiting for the girls to get up so we can go bra shopping for dd1. I still need to straighten my hair but will do that once they're up.

When we come back, dd2 wants to do part of her baking badge for Brownies, so we'll do that.

Tonight, I'm not sure yet. Maybe a film, and a glass or two of wine for me. I need to put my folder of evidence, from taking my Guides away last weekend, in order, so might do that.

Helping with making a model of a Viking village for DDs school project.
Takeaway and film in evening Smile

MustardScreams · 08/06/2019 09:58

Painting the front of the house, I’ve been putting it off for months and am just going to do it today.

Dd is back from her dads this afternoon, so we’re going to have pjs and film and really chill. We’ve had a hectic week.

bigchris · 08/06/2019 09:59

Dh and dd have gone to play badminton, ds is doing his homework watching youtube

Haircuts later, maybe a roast, tomorrow going to see rocketman so roast today

happypotamus · 08/06/2019 10:00

DH has gone to parkrun. I have got DDs ready, persuaded very reluctant DD1 to get ready for swimming. DH will take DD1 to swimming and I will wash my hair/ tidy up/ entertain DD2. This afternoon I don't know what we will do, probably not a lot. I hope to have a short nap, cook dinner, wash DDs' hair, get ready and go to work for yet another night shift.

bigchris · 08/06/2019 10:00

Would love a takeaway but no monies and waist expanding rapidly Grin

TheBitchOfTheVicar · 08/06/2019 10:07

I have a lot of washing to do.

At the moment I am sitting on the sofa, sore from a run.

DC and friends are upstairs. I am ignoring them; contemplating a coffee.

I am out with friends this afternoon/evening. I also have work to do!

JenMumma · 08/06/2019 10:12

DS at his nans, I'm 19 weeks PG, gonna have a shed load of toast then go and waddle round the second hand shops with DP then lunch somewhere. Tonight - washing and moving bedroom round for the huge cot I insisted upon 🙄 xx

caranx · 08/06/2019 10:20

RunningNinja79 · 08/06/2019 10:52

Absolutely fuck all right now.

Usually we're busy at weekends. We have family things to do or Im running, but this week I just CBA to do anything.

We've taken the dogs to the vets for his yearly check-up and vaccinations. I will do an hours ironing in a bit. Tonight its a bit of TV and mario kart with the DCs.

Tomorrow Im tail walking at the local Race for Life. Thats it there too.

A real lazy weekend. These are rare for us though.

dudsville · 08/06/2019 10:58

No plans. Breakfast in bed with tea for a couple of hours. A walk in the countryside. Laundry on the Line. I've sat down here for a cup of tea and a chance to root around mn (found a good suggested for my packed lunches this week!). I've got a nice menu for tonight.

RubberTreePlant · 08/06/2019 11:00

Test drive, then pub lunch Smile

lucymegan · 08/06/2019 11:01

My two little ones 2&5 have just left to go sleep at grandmas for the night (yippee) they are have a birthday party to go to this afternoon then baking some cakes for dh because it's his birth tomorrow.

DS has gone to work.
Teenage DD's are sorting their room out today (it's a shit tip 😡)

Me and my best friend are going to see db and sil at the hospital today to meet my new twin nephews 😍 I'm sooooo excited!

Dh is having a day to himself. Haircut, gym and seeing his mates. Then this evening me and him are going to watch rocket man and have a meal at Miller and carter.

So white a productive day. Just a shame the weather is so crap 🌧

lucymegan · 08/06/2019 11:03

Quite*

flossie86 · 08/06/2019 11:16

Currently lying in bed with my daughter (9) watching Full house while my 2 sons (7&4) bounce on my bed in my room, looks like a pyjama day in my house (weather is crap) might make myself a cappuccino soon Grin

TellySavalashairbrush · 08/06/2019 11:18

Not much. Dh gone overseas to see his family, I’ve been really unwell and ended up in A&E on a drip earlier in the week, so I’m just resting today (feels weird coz i’m Always on the go- large part of why I’m unwell) dd working all day, so watching tv, reading and trying to resist the urge to clean the house.

Ronsters · 08/06/2019 11:23

I'm going to clean the shower screen with some Cillit Bang stuff, how exciting!
Also hoping to get some bedding plants in and some containers planted up, between rain showers.

happyhillock · 08/06/2019 11:28

Put washing on, just had breakfast, tidy up a bit, scampi for dinner then curl up with a bottle of wine and watch tv

dudsville · 08/06/2019 12:12

Ooooh, Princess Bride is on Netflix!!!

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 08/06/2019 12:16

Currently in soft play hell. Leaving soon, home for lunch. Then dh will probably take the dc to the park/pool (he has had a lazy morning at home) and I will do some coursework.

Then dinner (risotto), and the last episode of Chernobyl tonight.

lucysmam · 08/06/2019 12:30

We're finally on the bus to town! It's only taken 3!! hours for the girls to get sorted Hmm.

Baking might wait for the morning now, depending on what time we get in.

I did a quick food shop with the baby this morning. We're all having lunch now and then we'll take the toddler to the park. Chill out this afternoon and this evening all depends on what time both kids are settled for the night. Baby is not even 2 weeks old so we'll probably go to bed early.

Pipandmum · 08/06/2019 12:39

Took son out for a sandwich at local deli then went to dentist. My daughter has not surfaced yet. Waiting for tesco delivery right now. Had bunch of teenage boys last night and games room an absolute mess but that’s my son’s responsibility! Having guests tonight my son is cooking a curry. So I guess I’ll have to do some tidying. Gotta walk dogs too...

JohnLapsleyParlabane · 08/06/2019 12:43

I had a lie in (with the baby but not the preschooler. Calling it a win) and even got a full, hot cup of tea before 12. Now the baby is napping and DH is reading to DD so I'm going to have a proper long shower with the bathroom door locked.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 08/06/2019 12:44

I have just returned form school. DD and her class mates have recieved their diplomas (Abitur). Very moving and fun - they and we parents have been together for 13 years.
There'll be a big party for teachers, parents, friends and others next week, too, - an informal and relaxed affair.

I came home to find a reminder for a bill I have not recieved and didn't need to recieve because the 'biller' has authority to withdraw, for a contract they sent me two different notice confimations for.
Yes, you guessed right - mobile contract. Grrrr!!

Theoldwoman · 09/06/2019 01:12

Sunday morning here. Raining finally! Yay. Pottering much of the day. Roast for lunch. Take DD for a driving lesson. Go for a walk in between showers. Sit a test for a job application. Ironing. Watch cricket tonight! Loving the World Cup so far!
