So long story short - was casually seeing a guy (only had one date) with him. He has a lot of baggage (not on speaking term with his parents and siblings, got fired at a job recently and apparently his ex (mother of his child) was cheating on him with one of his close friends so he broke up with her (relatively recently, immediately after finding out)... so I did feel sorry for him going through all that.
He seemed very keen to date me..(although I'm well aware I could and most likely would end up being the rebound).. I'm not so bothered if so as it is what it is (and I'm hardly looking for marriage lol) but weird thing is we were supposed to meet up tomorrow (we agreed on this last Monday) yet he's gone totally AWOL (and no, not just to me).
A few weeks ago, he added me on facebook. Have got him on whatsapp too and he has often phoned me. I noticed he hasn't been online at all on facebook or whatsapp for the last 3 days - which is very unusual for him - usually he's on there all the time after work and once an hour or so during work time and tried ringing him for the first time (usually it's him ringing me) but his phone is switched off. I sent a message on fb checking whether we're still meeting tomorrow but message doesn't seem to have been read yet.
He did mention he's working in a different city for the last few days (i.e. the day he was last online (tuesday) was day 1 working in that different city so not like he's chilling out with his friends, relatives etc. instead of being online & last week he was down about a close friend's passing (the 1 year anniversary of it happening).....
Oh and obviously I don't know his address nor any of his friends/relatives so there's no other way to confirm.
Feels very odd lol (and no, in this situation I don't think I'm being ghosted)
