Frozen food

I bought some haddock pieces with a cheese sauce topping and they've been in the freezer since purchasing. Got them out last night to have for tea tonight, just checked and the date on them was mid March. It says on the back to freeze immediately and eat within a month Confused

Am I having take away tonight or will they be ok?

They will ebe fine

I'd eat them as long as they look and smell ok.

Absolutely fine. Food loses quality over time in the freezer it doesn't go off.

All this with the proviso that the food was frozen quickly and thawed in the fridge.
