Hand hold.. anxiety rearing its ugly head.

We go away tomorrow AM overnight to ILs. SIL is also visiting and her kids so our DS will have some playmates.

I am riddled with anxiety over it this morning. We are staying at a local travel lodge so can get away come 6pm or so for DS bedtime.

There was a huge row a few years back when we visited. Lots of built up resentment and words exchanged.

We've visited many times since. I get on great with MIL and SIL. My anxiety is towards FIL. He was very blunt, rude and nasty towards me.

Unsure why its reared its head this time. We usually just plod on, be civil and have pleasantries and it doesn't usually bother me that he pretty much ignores me.

But this time I'm really het up about it.

Cant really say anything to DH as he will just think I I'm being daft.

So i need a handhold. And some cooking strategies for the weekend please.
