DH is an ultra runner and he has an event this weekend, we leave our house today at about 3pm to go to the start, we will be staying at a hotel tonight (travelodge type) the race starts at 6am Saturday and he will want this soup from about midday onwards, how the bloody hell do I heat it up?

Buy a crappy, cheap kettle, use it only to heat the soup and bin it after use

Please don’t do this.

Is there something else that doesn't need heating that he can have instead? Or add the special ingredients to a hot soup you can buy to takeaway from somewhere?

It's a bit of an ask, to send you around trying to heat a soup when you're away from home. He should have chosen a hotel that met his needs, so this shouldn't be your problem to solve.

Small camping ring, as others have suggested. Or if he wants warm soup, he finds solution. You're not his mum...

Glad you've found a solution. Tell him in future to eat flapjack like a normal person Grin

Do baby feeding rooms have microwaves over there? They do in Norway so if that's so for the UK then that might also be an option at a local shopping centre!
