Any podiatrists that can help?

Went to see my GP today who said I won't get to see a nhs podiatrist because they take so few referrals and I need to go private.

Unfortunately as a carer this is not something I can afford.

My feet are constantly blistered. I think it's because my toes curl under other toes.

I've tried rubber separators, plasters, talc etc. Nothing has worked so far and I'm on constant pain.

What can I do?

Have you got a local training college/university near you?

My DM used to use the podiatry clinic at our local university. The students are at least two years in I believe, and always monitored by supervisor/qualified staff.

It was very cheap, the treatment was excellent and thorough, plus they were always offering new cutting edge treatments through various medical trials etc.

@PositivelyPeach

Thankyou I will look into that option.
