DD at school today, fell over and hit her head on concrete. I wouldn’t usually worry but there is no swelling at all, that blue bruise is spreading at a rate of knots under her skin though? Is that normal. She’s got a headache but feels ok otherwise

Check out the guidelines posted by @Rosebud21 - they are much more useful than random members of the public xx

wishi, really? It was said to me by an A&E doctor

Me as well. Are they just filling us full of shit?

A lot of know-it-alls here.

I'm not a medic, but looking just at the photo, the point of impact seems to be the top of her forehead, yet the bleeding seems to have expanded and not clotted. None of you can make a professional diagnosis, indeed a doctor can't without observation, so stop with the know-it-all crap.

Please go and get her seen - community nurse here have had x 3 patients die recently of head injuries that were not investigated for various reasons. It's a remote chance that it's serious but if it is time is of the essence
Good luck x

@badlyneedapedicure- and assume all elderly with comorbidities?

She was fine, she went to her dads that night and he kept an eye on her. Bruise is almost gone now
