Almost 5 year old bedtime?

DS is 5 in August.

Just wondered what time your children of that age go to bed?

DS goes at 7/7.30 and usually sleeps through until 6/6.30.

Same time as yours (5 at the end of July). He sleeps until about 7, give or take half an hour.

In bed with lights off definitely by 7, usually asleep by 7.05, sometimes asleep before 7. Wakes around 6.20 I think but isn’t allowed to emerge until groclock wakes up at 7. Now if only her little sister would follow suit....

Mine is 5 in August too and goes to sleep around 6.30/7. We have to be up at 6 during the week.

Jesus. I’m so jealous. Mine is 4.5 and refuses to sleep before 8.30pm at the earliest. Quite often it’s 9pm. Up at 6am. She goes to bed about 7.30 but just won’t sleep. Doesn’t seem to need it. (She’s never ever slept well or as much as they are meant to).

Ds2 is 5 and goes to bed at 7 and sleeps till anywhere between 6 and 7:30.

DD is 5.3. Is usually asleep by 8pm (so upstairs at 7.15, or 7.30 if no bath), wakes around 7am.

Between 12-1 and up at 5 she has asd and doesnt need sleep her elder siblings were the same.

Same as yours. Later on a Fri/Sat/holidays but not much as she was knackered by 8.30.

I have a son who will be 5 in December. He goes up for his bath at 6.30 then has a story etc and into bed for 7. He's allowed to read his book for a bit if he wants. He would sleep until 8ish If left but I have to wake him earlier for school/work (my work I mean I'm not sending him chimney sweeping 😂)
