Bugaboo donkey need mattress?

So getting a 2nd hand bugaboo donkey duo do I need a matress for the carry cot bit? Also anything I should know about?

No you shouldn’t need a mattress it comes with one.

Probably handy to know you won't need the mattress but will need a cover for it. Use one for a Moses basket.

Ahh thanks guys never had a carry cot type pram before so I was thinking like a moses basket

I'm guessing you aren't using it for regular sleeping (just when out in the pram?) In which case you don't need a new mattress. Moses basket sheets work well as covers as said above.
