First dermatologist appointment re psoriasis - what to expect?

Finally after 15 years of suffering with this bloody horrible disease I have a derm consultant appointment next week. Hooray!

Just wondering what is likely to happen at the first appointment? Am I likely to stay treatment then or will it just be a discussion on what to try? For context I’m 75% covered in psoriasis (plaque, guttate, inverse, nail, scalp - not nice) so want to get a move on with something other than Dovobet,

Is UV therapy the first port of call usually?

Poor you I have just a bit on my knees and elbows and that's bad enough so must be awful for you.

I agree Dovebet is useless. I was prescribed some camouflage cream to cover it up which is quite effective. Not sure what happens at the clinic but have heard of light therapy so hope they can suggest something to help you. Good luck Flowers
