I'm on Day 4 of my no-processed-sugar diet and absolutely CRAVING chocolate and thinking back to my ultimate treat which is melted milk chocolate with milk.. so a super super thick and sweet hot chocolate. 🤤🤤🤤

What's yours? Hit me with your best!

Haha are you sure you want to be making a thread like this and reading the replies when you're trying to go sugar-free??

My one is cheesecake... it's the best thing ever.. and whipped cream in a spray can and custard.. basically most dairy+sugar combos lol

CakeNinja · 04/06/2019 21:35

A proper homemade boozy creamy chocolatey tiramisu.
I can’t abide coffee any other time but This is my ultimate pudding.
I’ve been low carbing for a while and just eating a lot cleaner on the whole but my god I could demolish an entire tiramisu right now!

Skyejuly · 04/06/2019 21:37

Banoffee pie or lemon cheesecake

Magmatic80 · 04/06/2019 21:37

Eve’s pudding with HOT custard.

No wait, syrup sponge with hot custard

OddCat · 04/06/2019 21:39

Homemade ice cream- condensed milk and cream, mix together, freeze

UsernameTaken76 · 04/06/2019 21:40

Sticky toffee pudding with loads of hot toffee sauce with perfectly cold vanilla ice cream.

Angie169 · 04/06/2019 21:42

Home made rice pudding it is so easy to make .
I'll make a couple of pints of it on a Sunday and try and make it last all week I always fail miserably

BentBaastard · 04/06/2019 21:43

Banoffi pie with ice cream.

Londonlassy · 04/06/2019 21:43

I’m going super-free too. It’s a killer. I crave any type of cake ( except your prepackaged supermarket imitation cake) right now I’d smash a cheesecake, lemon tart or carrot cake. Completely understand your challenge OP

MadameGazelleIsMyHomegirl · 04/06/2019 21:43

Lemon posset. It’s just cream, lemon juice and caster sugar, heated up then chilled. The easiest pudding ever, and so so so yummy.

Londonlassy · 04/06/2019 21:44

Sugar free

woodcutbirds · 04/06/2019 21:46

Those brownies that are crisp on top then melty and chewy and still slightly warm inside with chunks of nut in them.

Homemade coffee and walnut cake

sticky toffee pudding

spiced apple or rhubard crumble

greencurry · 04/06/2019 22:08

@woodcutbirds oh god yes a crispy and chewy brownie. My mouth is literally watering.

@Londonlassy how long have you been sugar-free for? I've read Day 4 is one of the hardest 🙈 if I can get through today (which I think I have as it's 10pm) then I have a good shot at getting to 28 days and then break the habit!

Treacle tart, Eton mess, lemon meringue pie.

Londonlassy · 05/06/2019 08:50

greencurry I started at the beginning of May. I have found it incredibly difficult. I am a true sugar fiend. The only things that I have found that took the edge off for me were drinking more water adding protein to my meals and snacks and when I can exercising in the morning gives me endorphins to combat the sugar cravings

Summerlovin24 · 05/06/2019 21:33

Apple and rhubarb crumble with hot custard

managedmis · 05/06/2019 21:36

Yeah get over day four and you'll be fine.

Here's mine :

Cartmel sticky toffee pud, ice cream
DH'S choc cake, melted slightly in microwave, ice cream
Carrot cake, massive wedge of it

managedmis · 05/06/2019 21:37

Tip : eat fat and protein to take edge off sugar craving. Cheese works for me.

FloofyHeckonChonker · 06/06/2019 11:01

Hot treacle tart with clotted cream.
Gypsy tart with clotted cream.
Cornflake pie with pink custard.

user87382294757 · 06/06/2019 11:54

I like the coconut collaboration mini choc pots- for a treat which is just small but takes edge off a choc craving. I also go for dark choc with sea salt or hot cacao when craving chocolate but reducing sugar.

00100001 · 06/06/2019 12:01

home made krispy kreme style doughnuts.

Stravapalava · 06/06/2019 12:56
