Hi every one, does any one have experience with dla.. my health visitor suggested I apply for my boy who is 4 in 6 days time and currently going through an autism assessment. He is not toilet trained as he is showing no signs of being ready and refuses to use toilet at home and at pre-school, his speech is severely behind and mainly communicates through gestures. He has no sense of danger, constantly runs off. He will stop at a road but stops right on the edge of a kirb. He's starting to have meltdowns over little things and even after being at school all day he still won't sleep most times until almost midnight. School have suggested him staying back a year and doing another year in pre-school 😢😢. Dla received my form 2 weeks ago I sent off all of his appointment letters, salt reports and a supporting letter from school.. has anyone else received dla for something similar xx
