Blog sharing and support from family/friends?

I write blogs purely as a hobby as I love writing. I write mainly about wellbeing and parenting and share them to my social media pages. Obviously, my blogs are littered with my points of view and opinions on a range of things.

I am however starting to get the feeling that I may be pissing some people off. Ironically, it's people I would class as "close friends" or other mums on the school playground. Mainly because after them liking, commenting and supporting my blogs initially, a lot of that support seems to have died off and I feel I'm getting a bit of cold shoulder on SM and in real life. I don't want to put people off me but don't want to stop writing either and I guess part of open, honest writing is accepting that some people won't like what you have to say? There's nothing controversial there as such, more general, shared experiences and worries, that sort of thing.

Or maybe people are fed up of me talking/writing about myself? Any tips?

I've asked DH if he thinks my blogs are capable of pissing people off... he couldn't wait to answer "yes."

I asked him why.

He says because when I write about hard days as a Mum, some women will have it much tougher than I do.

Really need some perspective on this?

I've had some coaching through a lifecoach who told me how important it is that I pursue my writing as it's such a big prt of who I am and yet, if I'm just annoying people? I just share soul baring, real life stuff, nothing too crazy or dramatic. I'd expect some people to dislike what I write but it seems this lack of support or 'likes' that has been bothering me isn't all in my head afterall. DH couldn't wait to tell me "yes" they probably piss people off.

Do I stop blogging?

No, don't stop the blog. Everyone has days that are hard. This is not a competition of who has it harder.

I write about mental health and specify this is my experience.
