Help me out in Cambridge! Just driven here to visit an attraction and can't get in! What can we do here instead?

Just that really. What is there to do in Cambridge with a 4 year old?

The zoology museum is great. Right in the centre too.

CanYouGuessWhereIAm · 04/06/2019 12:32

Fitzwilliam Museum, or the Botanical Gardens. Bring a picnic if going to the latter, my fussy 4yo ate exactly nothing that they sold in the cafe.

greenlynx · 04/06/2019 12:33

They have something like Science museum. We’ve being quite a few years ago so don’t remember the exact name. But it’s great place not big but with lots of hands on activities.

TeenTimesTwo · 04/06/2019 12:35

Go punting?

shumway · 04/06/2019 12:36

Sedgwick museum is good. Or go on a punt on the river.

Degustibusnonestdisputandem1 · 04/06/2019 12:36

What can't you get into?

Cassini · 04/06/2019 12:36

Head back out to Anglesey Abbey just a few miles away and play on the woodland adventures

vinegarqueen · 04/06/2019 12:37

Go and see the cows on Midsummer common and Laundress Green, have an icecream, Zoology museum (newly renovated). A bit pricey, but go on a punt tour (you can generally haggle down the price a bit).

TheOrigFV45 · 04/06/2019 12:38

Ditto Zoology Museum - they have a dinosaur!

Then (if the weather holds) Lammas Land for a play.

shumway · 04/06/2019 12:39

Taste test some fudge at the fudge kitchen shop.

cornflakegirl · 04/06/2019 12:46

Cambridge Science Centre (CB17ED) will be open at 3 - lots of interesting, hands-on stuff.

Moneybegreen · 04/06/2019 12:51

Where in town are you? It's pissing down at the moment, so i'd go to the Fitzwilliam or Zoology museums.

What did you come here to do?

BlueChampagne · 04/06/2019 13:07

Zoology museum is great - we went over half term. Then the kids took their grandparents there Grin. Or Sedgwick Museum for fossils and dinosaurs.

magneticmumbles · 04/06/2019 18:29

We came for the imperial war museum but headed to a wildlife park instead. Will be back to see the others soon! Thanks for the suggestions.

SmallPinkBear · 04/06/2019 18:36

Oh just realised it was the special DDay event which was advance ticket only

Moneybegreen · 04/06/2019 20:49
