A present from my MIL. Any ideas for a yummy and simple supper?

Any stew-type recipe for diced lamb should work well with goat. Tends to require slightly longer cooking but otherwise treat the same. I've done a few dishes mainly Indian-style curries or Moroccan and they've all worked out well.

Here's one I've tried and liked enough that I will do it again. If you don't have an electric pressure cooker just adjust the cooking time for oven or stove top.

Goat slow cooked is fantastic for a curry - google Caribbean Goat Curry and you'll get quite a few options.

Goat curry, yummy! I wish I could find a goat farm nearby!

TooTrueToBeGood · 03/06/2019 11:45

Don't know if it's nearby but I get my kid meat from these guys:
www.churchhillbilly.com/. Arrives with me in Scotland still frozen solid. Distance prevents me getting it unfrozen.

I was going to mention goat curry, or curry goat as my W.Indian friends call it, and it's b. delicious. I'm fortunate enough to be able to travel into the Bull Ring markets in Birmingham and buy chunked up goat meat there. Goats heads, tongues and little legs and hooves also availableGrin

Goat curry and, if you're anywhere near where the Gurkahs are based, get Gurkha curry sauce for it. Brilliant.
