Recurring dream...

I keep dreaming that eldest DC (10) has got a big tattoo on his back or leg and somehow it's my fault, and I spend the entire dream fretting about hiding it from school and family until he's 18...

I wake up in cold sweats feeling horrible! Any thoughts on this?

Well we all make mistakes so it was a lucky guess. I'm sure most parents feel like that.

Can you forgive yourself? It sounds like unnecessary weight you are carrying if you are dreaming about it.

I figured I worry as much as the next parent. Mostly that all the little things are going to build up and cause something bad. Like all the times I work late or have no patience or let him play on his computer for ages.
