Hi I would welcome some advice, my daughter is looking a buying her first house in Chatteris and solicitor is advising medium risk of flooding to the property. Does anyone know of historical flooding In The area. We are not local and would much appreciate any advice. Thank you

Buying in the fens is incredibly safe because they are one of the few places in the country which have good drainage in place (it's paid for via council tax - the middle level commissioners deal with if you want to look it up - I used to live near Chatteris.)
However, I would advise your daughter to look into crime figures in the area - some parts of Chatteris are good, some, not so much.
