Does anyone have a washable/easy dry bedspread they use instead of a duvet and duvet cover in summer?

We have a super king and wash the duvet cover every third night

It’s a total PITA remaking it at the best of times but now we have a really thin duvet for summer it’s worse- getting the duvet in the cover is like the Krypton factor!

Was just thinking if there was such a thing as a nice lightweight bedspread that didn’t need a cover and I could wash and dry in a day it would be ideal.

Anyone got one?

We just have the duvet cover without the duvet in it...

Couldn't you just get a couple of thinner duvets, sleep under one with no cover, have one spare, and just chuck a duvet cover over the lot during the day.
I have just come up with this idea, and as someone who also gets night sweats I am deffo thinking it could work.

I just use a fleece blanket when it's too hot for the duvet.

Ive got that m and s 4.5 tog printed duvet, its brilliant, fits in washing machine and dry in couple of hours.
It is not cotton though in case you want that. I dont find it at all sweaty though

Amazon do colour duvets which dry really quickly and are soft as feathers..I have four. They come in all sizes. The king size is amazing.
