What smells do you love?

I love the smell of tennis balls. Incredibly random smell to like! what slightly unusual smells do you love?

Freshly cut grass
Warm tiger bread
A roast in the oven
Australian gold sun cream

The smell from the factory near the Blackwall tunnel- I think it's molasses

Bonfires
Pavements after it has rained on a hot day

Hoof oil
Bio oil
Lavender
My children's heads, when they were babies

Jeyes fluid
My cat's fur (used to have two cats but one smelled nicer than the other)
Leather anything
Shoe polish which reminds me very much of my lovely dad
A particular blend of essential oils from the beautician at my old gym - I think it involved tea tree but no idea what else
Nag champa incense
New books
The sea, especially if it's been raining
Vanilla
New carpet
Engines and car workshops - a very particular smell, and along the same lines the smell of old sewing machine motors

The smell of when you wring out your flannel at the end of a shower and it is still hot and smells like your soap.

The smell of a pub in the morning (only get to smell this if you're at the door when it first opens after the cleaners have been in) this takes me back to when I used to go to work with my dm who was a cleaner. I think it's a mixture of stale beer and polish!

Oh, I forgot my favourite smell of them all, the seaside.

One of my old school books- I think it was the atlas. I used to bury my nose in it

I lovee the smell of th side of matchboxes where you strike! The ones where its gitty, ooo i could smell it all day and not get bored!

When I was a child I had a boxed set of Roald Dahl books which smelt amazing. I do like new book smell, but nothing has since come close to those Roald Dahl books.
