Birthday charity donation

Does anyone know a good site if you want to make a one-off donation to charity and have a message go to a friend to say you've done this, for their birthday? Am not fussy which charity but would like a choice. Things like JustGiving seem to want to to create a page etc. Ta!

My friend did it for my children instead of Xmas presents one year, and they got a certificate instead. Maybe pick a local one and ask, but I’m sure most automatically send emails/letters to thank for donations like that.

You can buy a goat/toilet/text books etc at Oxfam at Christmas, and you get a card to give to the recipient. I'm not sure if they do this all year round, but might worth an ask.
My mum sponsored a guide dog for my daughter last Christmas, and they sent my daughter photos of the dog and a newsletter.

Thanks - my friend lives abroad so I just really want an option where the charity will send an email to her that says "Keepmehappy made a donation of £20 to Save the Orang-Utans in honour of your 40th birthday". No paper or certificates. Anyone ever had something like this?

Plus I need to do it by this Tuesday as I forgot about her bday... 😁😁
