Just woken up, had a crap few days with bad period pain and feeling icky as a result so I'm sure today will be the same!Envy

I'm going to try and muster up the strength to make a coffee in a min and probably read in bed for a while.

DP is taking the dog out later and I might go and meet my family in town for (another) coffee and pick up a few bits we need.

I'm really excited for next week though as I have my college enrolment for September (I'm 20 and need to do an access course before I can apply to uni next year!) and the new X-men movie is out the day after!!Grin

My house seems filthy, so I've been doing my best to tackle upstairs, since I can't tackle it all. The bathroom's been deep cleaned, and the bedrooms kind of mostly so. I've even "mopped" the walls and ceilings, and they were surprisingly gross and dusty.

I'm now totally exhausted. We had lunch, and drinking tea and sitting here thinking of ways to redecorate our bedroom, because it suddenly looks so boring. We always meant to when we moved in, and just never got round to it.

Lots of coffee this morning. Took DD to work, came home and made tomato and basil soup, traybake and now watching a Christmas film. I’ll have a slice later with a cup of tea after collecting DD at 5.

We've had a day at home. I've been getting on top of the "proper" cleaning & tidying that got neglected over the past week or so as I was trying to put a final assignment in.

DDs have been playing mostly nicely.

DH has been in a strop over the football and has been in & out of the garden all day doing things.

I made a concoction from leftovers for lunch, which was actually quite nice but I couldn't eat it as I have some horrible really painful random indigestion / acid reflux thing that I can't get rid of and it's been going on all day.

I'm now at work. I hope DH is being nice to the DC!!

Me and dh have been decluttering the loft which has resulted in 2 trips to the tip and 1 to the charity shop. We’ve both feeling really pleased with ourselves so are having pizza, garlic bread and wine and watching Elementary.

princessspotify · 02/06/2019 19:08

The kids and I were alone for most of the day. Dh went out with some friends to watch the champions league.
We went to a national trust had some lunch and an ice cream.
On the way home had to pop to shops to pick up a delivery and ended buying the boys some new shorts and t-shirts.
Had a bbq for dinner.
Both kids now washed and getting ready for the dreaded back to school.
I also have the Sunday blues, not looking forward to work tomorrow as I've had all week off.

I did a car boot sale with teen DD's and my sister this morning. Made £90 so happy days.
The little ones have been to the seaside with the in laws. Dh has been to see his mates. Ds has spent the day playing fortnite.

After the boot sale I had a tidy up and spent the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the peace.

Kids are back at school tomorrow after a very busy half term. Hallelujah 🎉

Just made packed lunches. Dd has just made me a cup of tea so going to chill for the rest of the evening and watch a film.

I'm drinking wine and will be going to bed fairly soon!

I was at Kingswood with my Guides this weekend, we had a girl go home unwell at about 1am this morning, and I'm knackered after getting us all up early to clear our dorm and be at breakfast by 8am 😴😴😴

Normal household service resumes tomorrow morning.

moolady1977 · 02/06/2019 20:00

I gave in to the sleepover and now I'm regretting it - two giggling 8 year olds who won't sleep and it's gone 10 and I want to go to bed sigh

Equimum · 02/06/2019 20:56

Started day by getting in with post-holiday laundry. Then went to church and onto a lunchtime party with friends. Headed to the supermarket to replenish cupboards, then continued with laundry while kids watched TV and DH mowed the lawn. Ate supper in the garden, then DH put kids to bed, while I did some uni work. Now having a bath before watching a bit of TV.
