Eating eggs was my burning question as a kid , BUT MUM HOW CAN YOU EAT SOMETHING THAT HAS NOT BEEN BORN YET . in my 7 year old mind if its not born it does not exists yet , you can not eat some thing that does not exist .
I had no problem on the ethics side of why eat them I just didnt know how .Confused

I think the first people to eat eggs had probably watched wild dogs /wolves /chimps etc eat them and copied but I certainly wound not of been queuing up for them !

I have never understood why we use the phrase left and right wing in politics , If we all went left wing we would just go around in circles also if there was no right wing we could not have left wing it would just be wing , yes I know they dont base it on a bird , but that makes all the more confusing as to why they use the term .

@Angie169 🤭 I don't know-he asks google questions I can't answer , which makes for hilarious reading when I look online at activity

Who decided that a piece of wood that can block of a hole between two rooms should be called a door?

These are questions that'll never really be answered.

Eggs aren't very appetising looking must have been a brave or desperate person who first ate one especially as it was probably raw too!

I recently found myself wondering, while listening to the horror that is seagulls at a 4 am dawn chorus, if birds get tired in the summer when they're awake for most of long summer days.

What I don't understand about the food ones is it was centuries upon centuries before there was any kind of regular travel so there must have been loads of people figuring out stuff like grain = flour, you can make bread out of it, how to cook meat, how to make fire etc? How did they all figure it out at the 'same time'??? (I know it wouldn't have been exactly the same time but within the same era).

I will see your seagulls and raise you 2 magpies and a crow , noisy swines !

SchooledUp
I think fire would of been discovered by accident ,lightning strikes , and magma . But with nature doing its thing it must of scared the bejesus out of people , I wonder what they thought it was .
