Cloth pads. Do I persevere?

Trying cloth sanitary pads for the first time. I feel really uncomfortable and conscious of them - but then it is Day 1 and I think I usually feel like this.

I need to persevere, don't I? I've bought a starter kit which cost about £45.

I changed over mainly for eco reasons but also because I am half convinced that my stupid contrary body might take this as a sign to pack in bleeding and accept the menopause instead of this peri-bollocks.

Please do persevere. Not every design suits everybody so you may want to consider trying different brands. There's some useful groups on Facebook for advice (The Bloody Waste) and for selling/buying Preloved (CSP & reusable menstrual products sales group)

Give them a while longer. They felt a bit odd to me at first too but now they’re just normal, and not just greener but cheaper.

It depends. I bought a load and they kept giving me infections.
Then I changed from the fleecy ones to the charcoal ones and they were much much better.
