What are your 14 / 15 year old boys up to today?

Having woken up at 11am, DS is online (again) with his friends whilst I'm trying to give him ideas of what they could be doing instead - bike ride, swimming, cinema, even just a walk up to McDonalds would be better than nothing!

Please tell me your boys are like this too and I haven't got the only 15 year old who would rather stay in than get out with friends? It does seem to be the boys who are like this as all the girls I know do seem to hang out at the shops, etc.

Same OP, DS 14.

Its getting towards the summer so I'm hoping he'll go out and about a bit more. I'm also hoping he'll discover girlfriends (or boyf if thats his thing) sooner rather than later and want to socialise more.

Although when that happens there will be other worries obviously and I'll probably wish he was back in his room on his Xbox Grin

Yes, we keep saying things might change when girls come on the scene!

Thanks for all your replies, it's always good to know you're kids are pretty much like a lot of others. I dragged them out to the shops this afternoon which they didn't complain about as they knew they might gets something bought...

It's difficult as I hear of other kids the same age smoking and hanging out doing God knows what and I don't want that either! A happy medium would be nice 😉
