Spanish Petrol Stations

Bit of a niche request but does anyone know what hours Spanish petrol stations usually open? We have to return a hire car to Girona airport and need to fill up en route. TIA.

Not been to Girona but spent lots of time in Spain fwiw.
In my experience most motorway services open 24 hours and some are automated. Non motorway may depend on the area and whether it's on a busy route. Non motorway you can also drive for miles without coming across a petrol station, similar in France.

Google maps says there's an unmanned self service petrol station by the airport open 24hrs HERE or another larger manned petrol station open 24hrs HERE Enjoy your holiday !
