Currently pregnant with no 4 and half heartedly planning a holiday abroad for the next feb half term, won’t book anything till the little man makes his appearance anyway. Want to make the most of the maternity leave!! Our other dc are 13,11 and 10 so pretty independent when we travel but we have never travelled with a baby and dh is not keen as baby will only be 6mo. Does anyone have any positive/negative experiences???

it's fine, we went abroad when ds was around 6 months and he slept for most the flight, there and back. one thing i would recommend is booking a seat for them, and then putting them in their carseat. you can use them on easyjet flights and british airways (those are the 2 i have flown with that I used a carseat on), although you will need a sticker on the side of the carseat that shows it is safe for plane use. I found that by putting them into the carseat, the dc often fell asleep and didn't wake up for the duration of the flight. what about going somewhere like Cyprus with an AI resort?
