Is this hay fever?

Hi can anyone tell me what this is and is it hayfever? My eyes are streaming and sore and itchy, never had it before. I’ve been waking with eyelashes stuck together. I went into the garden for couple of hours today and I had to come in my eyes were so sensitive and I kept sneezing and achy scratchy throat. If it is any tips of how to cope with it. It’s miserable. Tia

Sounds exactly like my hay fever.

Antihistamines. Eye drops. Don’t wear outdoor clothes inside (take off and put in washing basket to minimise pollen spread). Unfortunately keep windows closed especially early mornings and late evenings. I have an air purifier for when it’s bad. Take showers when you get home to wash pollen off you.
It’s a living hell. Sorry!

@RavenLG thanks for your answer. Oh it’s such a shame I love the outdoors and even sleep outside in the summer, no more I guess. it’s changing clothes and showers when I have to go outside from now on eh. 🙁

I’d keep an eye on it to rule out anything else, plus you might be ok with minimal measures (say antihistamines and eye drops).
