She's been saying that for decades. No idea if it's true or not

Old story.

It’s entirely possible but my doubt is because he was utterly ruthless and determined and I think he would have punched her in the face to subdue her rather than allowing her to escape and throw possible light on him if she reported him.

I do think that even if it wasn’t Bundy the guy may still have been up to no good so either way she had a lucky escape.

If inside the doors had no handles. How did she get out.And he usually hit you outside the car.

The window was open an inch and a half at the top so she put her arm outside and opened the door from the outside.

I'd not read this before. I so wish we could have a not dead rule though for celebrity names in the title, my heart jumped a bit.

Rockbird · 30/05/2019 14:17

Agree with the Not Dead title Grin. Luckily I've been reading all about her book launch yesterday and Chris Stein has been instagramming as normal so I knew she wasn't dead but it usually gets me!

LaminateAnecdotes · 30/05/2019 14:38

Didn't Morrissey claim he was almost a victim of the Moors Murderers ?

Frownette · 30/05/2019 14:42

I like Debbie Harry, but she also thought Marilyn Monroe was her mother at one point.

dustarr73 · 30/05/2019 14:57

I have asked for not dead to be put in the title

Reading this, I found most of the Mail comments worrying and quite indicative of the culture where perpetrators of sexual assault and rape are rarely brought to justice.

The comments are largely claiming Debbie Harry made this story up (which she's actually been mentioning for years) for exposure and attention ahead of her new book release. If that's what Mail readers think of Debbie, who has been one of the world's most famous, recognisable and well loved women for 40 years (I.e. not really in need of attention), what chance would any ordinary victim have in being believed?

I've no idea if it was Bundy or not but I've no reason to disbelieve that the incident happened.

No she didn't. She found out she was adopted and in her teens used to fantasise that she was the long lost daughter of MM. She didn't claim she was actually her mother.

Was just coming back to say the same thing Bluestitch
