I put an unsmoked gammon joint in the slow cooker before going out.
When I came home I realised I couldn't smell bacon, and realised I'd plugged slow cooker in, but not turned it on 
I can't remember the exact time (between 11am - 12pm), and I put it in the actual oven (to heat and cook it fast) at just before 4pm.
I'm worried about it, even though I've soaked gammon overnight in water (in a saucepan at room temperature), but this didn't have water, only brown sugar.
