A happy thread !
DD1 just finished her dissertation. Handed in last week..
I asked her to send it to me as really wanted to read it - but as it's 40 pages long and very 'sciency' - had planned to skim read today on my day off...
Anyway I've only got as far as the Acknowledgments in the second paragraph, many thank you's to various illustrious academics etc .. and then this.
"Finally, I acknowledge the woman whose intelligence and strength continues to inspire me. Thank you, Mum, for the unwavering support in everything I do."
Can't read anymore. Something in my eye 😊..
