Is it possible to do a “reboot” of an iphones battery?

Probably not buy i’ll ask anyway.

My iPhone battery is lasting an hour (ish) before I need to plug in the charger. I’ve had the phone about 3 years and I think it was my sister’s for 2 years before that so it’s possibly 5 years old. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the phone and I’ve just paid £55 to repair a cracked screen so don’t really want to have to replace the phone. (I can’t afford a new one anyway so it won’t be happening)

Is there anything I can do other than removing unused apps using battery saving mode to give the battery a new lease of life?

Google iPhone battery replacement with the model, there's a number of places that will do it.

My iphone started doing this after a few years use.

A replacement battery and a couple youtube videos on how to replace it, and it's been good as new, just realised have been using it for another 3 years since!

Good luck!

Thanks both!

Are the batteries available outside of Apple? And what sort of price should I expect to pay?

I got mine from Amazon if I remember right. A battery and a little toolkit to help replace it.

Depends on how old your phone is I guess, but I had 4S and I don't remember the exact price but the battery+kit was under £20.
